A BELANDA modular sofa with chaise in rust-brown boucle, against a panelled wall on a light oak floor, with a travertine coffee table in front

We became the supplier we wanted to buy from.

Two people who spent years inside furniture retail - one selling Polish collections to Western European showrooms, one buying them for his own stores. BELANDA is what we kept looking for and rarely found.

What we kept running into

A supplier who understands the market they sell into. One whose lead times hold. One whose quality doesn't drift after the third order. One who answers the same day. One with design your floor can actually sell, at a price that leaves you a margin.

Any one of those is easy to find. All of them in one supplier is not - and we spent years on both sides of that problem. Selling into these showrooms, you see what buyers put up with. Buying for your own stores, you feel it.

So we set the bar where we'd have set it as buyers

Every decision behind BELANDA came from the same question: what would we have wanted from a supplier, back when we were the ones waiting on one?

That's where 4-6 weeks comes from, and why we only quote a date the line can actually hold. It's why questions get answered the same day rather than next week. It's why the claim procedure is agreed before your first order, not negotiated while your customer waits. None of it is generous. It's the standard we'd have demanded ourselves.

What that looks like in practice

A standard is only worth something if it is written down before the first order, not recalled after the third one. These are the four that are.

4-6 weeks, planned rather than promised

The lead time is set against the orders already on the line, not against a best case. A bottleneck is our problem to solve, not your delay to explain.

A claim procedure agreed up front

Settled before your first order, not negotiated while your customer waits. If something is wrong, fixing it is our cost.

An answer the same day

Your salespeople never stand in front of a customer waiting on us to come back with a date, a price or a fabric.

No minimum order quantity

Start with what your floor needs, not with what fills a truck. The collection scales when your sales do.

The design

The collection is drawn for a retail floor, not for a catalogue. Proportions, seat depth and the fabric range are set against what actually sells in European living rooms, and every model is judged on the same question: whether a customer sits down and stays there.

Where it's made

Production in Greater Poland, a 60-person team with more than ten years of making furniture for Western European brands. Nothing is made before your order arrives.

Where this is going

A wider collection, more showrooms, and a supplier European buyers reach for without thinking twice. The Netherlands is where we started, and the next markets follow the same way: one showroom, one buyer at a time.

Reputation in this industry is built one delivery at a time. That suits us - we'd rather be judged on how the first order arrives than on anything written here.

Nieuwegein, from 5 September.

Our showroom at De Woonindustrie opens on 5 September, with the collection and the full fabric range on the floor. Until then we come to you, or we meet online.
